How does a personal chef service work?
After you contact me we will schedule an in-home consultation. This time is designed for you to get to know me, and for me to get to know your needs as they relate to my services. We’ll go over the likes and dislikes of everyone I will be cooking for, as well as any dietary restrictions, or health related goals you might have. I’ll want to get a feel for your kitchen and we will discuss which service package would be best for you. I will plan a customized menu (which you will review and approve), collect your grocery deposit, and schedule a cook date and time. It is not necessary for you to be home when I am cooking.
On your cook day, I will do all the grocery shopping to assure your ingredients are the freshest. I will arrive at your home with all ingredients in hand, and my cooking supplies. Depending on the service it will take between 5 and 7 hours for me to prepare, cook, store, and clean up. I will package and store all meals in your refrigerator and freezer with the complete menu and instructions for heating waiting for you. Your home will have the aroma of home cooked food, and your kitchen will be spotless. All that’s left is for you to enjoy the delish meals.
Parties
Planning a brunch, luncheon, dinner party, or birthday extravaganza? I do parties as well. As a host/hostess the last thing you want to be worried about is the cooking and food. I will take extra time to make sure your personal touch is in the menu without the headache of actually having to prepare everything yourself. When your guests arrive you’ll be relaxed and happy to know you’ve got the time to spend with them instead of in the kitchen. After all what good is a party if you don’t enjoy it!
